Starry skies and life-changing conversations around a campfire

iALA hosts a youth camp that aims to teach you something about yourself, your beliefs and values by engaging in adventure activities along with like-minded students from across South Africa. Using this Christian-based approach, we will learn more about ourselves, our fellow human beings, nature and God.

What to expect

During the 8 days on campus you will learn to surf, do navigation, hike and swim in the mountains, as well as play paintball. This ultimate adventure will end off with raft building and other experiential learning activities.

Mornings start with breakfast at 07H00, followed by fitness at 08H00 and the rest of the daily programme. We’ll offer you something to eat at 13H00 and end the day with supper at 19H00. Parents can supply pocket money, but nothing more than R500. We will teach you how to budget too!

Where it will happen

The programme takes place in the safe surroundings of Stilbaai. Students will sleep in tents under the watchful eye of the camp leaders. “House rules” will be strictly implemented.

All students will be picked up in George. Students can fly in, arrive by bus or be driven to our campus in Stilbaai. Students will be dropped off at the George Airport or the bus stop.

Parents who want to pick up their youngsters directly from the campus are welcome to do so.

This event is a mountain biking experience scheduled for the 21nd of December 2019. We are proud to say that this healthy lifestyle event accommodates the whole family. The easy 25km to the hardcore 90 roads all lead to the fountain of Jongensdal.

This event is the initiative to applaud what the farmers do for us in the Southern Cape (Well they give us food everywhere in South Africa)
